About Us

Our Mission
First I would like to introduce myself to you if you don't already know me. My name is
David William Bookout, and I have been in the jewelry business in Ukiah for the last
twenty four years as a partner in Mueller's Victorian Jewelers. As of May 1st, 2001,
my wife and I have purchased my partners interest in Mueller's Victorian Jewelers
and have changed the name to: D. William Jewelers.

I have been involved in the jewelry business since I was a child growing up around
a jewelry store that my uncle owned and still owns today. I have seen all aspects of
the jewelry business from custom fabrication, repairs, special orders, sales and all
other duties that come with owning a small business.

We have always carried many name brand products like Seiko and Citizen watches,
Landstroms Original Black Hills Gold, Carla earrings, Spiedel watch bands and
I.D.'s. These are just some of the quality products that we carry. The one thing that
we have built our business on is quality. We feel that if you are going to come to a
fine jeweler you expect quality. Every item that is sold in our store is inspected
before it is put in the showcase. If we see something about it that we don't like it
goes back to the supplier.

Martha and I have many new ideas that we will be doing in the near future. We plan
to expand our colored stone line extensively. We have started buying our precious
and semi precious stones loose and setting them ourselves to give a little more
custom look and have more control of the quality of the stone and also the
mounting. By doing this we are able to cut out the middle man and give you a better
product for less money.

Also we are continuing to work on our web page and hope to have some
merchandise showing with some links to our suppliers that have web sites. What
is nice about this is that you can go to their web page and see every item that my
suppliers have, make your decision and order it from us.

In closing I would like to thank all of my loyal customers of the past for the wonderful
experience that I have had with Mueller's Victorian Jewelers and to the future D.
William Jewelers.
